Storyline
This is the tale of Bai Ying, the senior daughter of the Bai clan, and Su Mo, a merman. Su Mo, who is known as the Emperor of the Sea, is in charge of returning all the merpeople to the Biluo Sea from Yun Hung, where they were mistreated and held as slaves in exchange for their tears, which turned into pearls.
Bai Ying, on the other hand, is expected to wed Zhen Lan, the crown prince of Kong Sang, and thus gain the throne’s heavenly authority. I definitely can’t wait to see what The Longest Promise has in store for us, even though it may have had one or two shortcomings.
The longest promise should have been broadcast first so that we could see Su Mo, Bai Ying, and their children. The plot featured some excellent ideas, such as the “reincarnation,” which was unexpected and unusual whenever mermen are involved.
